In order for Leadexplorer to identify your web leads, you need to install a Leadexplorer tracking script on your site. This could be done in a few different ways and it usually only takes a couple of minutes. In this article, you learn how to install that script on your website.

Install the script directly to your site

  1. You first need to grab the piece of code that's to go on your website. You find it on the start-page in Leadexplorer or in settings (Settings -> Integrations -> Leadexplorer web script). Copy the code.

  2. Log in to your website. You want to track all the pages on your site, so add the tracking code to the header of your website. Paste it in the head tag of your site, before </head>.

  3. All done. Head over to Leadexplorer to wait for your leads to show up.

Use a Google Tag Manager

  1. You first need to grab the piece of code that's to go on your website. You find it on the start-page in Leadexplorer or in settings (Settings -> Integrations -> Leadexplorer web script). Copy the code.

  2. Go to your Google Tag Manager and add a new tag.

  3. Choose "Custom HTML" and paste the Leadexplorer web script in the box.

  4. Choose it to trigger on all pages, like you would set up your Google Analytics code.

  5. Save and submit the changes.

If you use Wordpress as your CMS, it's also possible to add the Leadexplorer web script using a Wordpress plugin. Simply add a plugin that allows you to add a script to your header.

If you use Wix CMS system. Follow this guide. Make sure the script is added:

  • All pages - "Load code on each new page"

  • in the <head> of your pages.
